These decorative plates are SOME of my wife’s favorite possessions….some as in she has quite a few more.
She loves birds and this particular collection is complete…she managed to collect all of the set.
They rest on a homemade rack I made for them and decorated, rather clumsily with my watercolour paints….no matter…..better than nothing at all.
I have to admit I DO like them and their placement almost always generates comments from visitors.
I was looking for a theme today and figured that maybe this could be persuaded to meet a theme…..and I think I succeeded.
As far as I know they are all birds indigenous to North America and in fact most of them are found up here..

Judging from the depth of this image…she has tons of those plates! I guess she better keep you…that plate rack looks beautiful!

Love the perspective of this image with the first plate in focus and the line seeming to go on and on.
